Swimming and lunch by the pool

I got to take Jett to a really fun event, and how exciting that they had a professional photographer!  My little man was so excited to do his back floats he learned in swimming lessons this year, watch the planes from the hot tub, and swim around.  He is so sweet!

The King Of The Castle

We got this new play place today from some neighbors.



We love it. Jett immediately climbed on top and sang "I'm the king of he castle". He then became very persistent that his castle needed a flag so we got to crafting! You can't see details but it's taped to the roof and has his name on it.

Where do kids learn these things?

Calaway Cousins

My cousin Marcy and Family were in town this week and we met up at calaway park. It was really fun. Her kids were nice and helpful and willing to go on big rides with me!

Jett went to swimming lessons, he learned to put his eyes in the water and doggie paddle.  First time without mom with him, he passed but is taking the same level again in a few weeks.

The boys ate their first real 'solid' food.  Baby mum mums.  They are MESSY, but it gives me 10 minutes of silence.  We all know, silence is golden!

Jett was so traumatized by his foot getting scratched, it wiped him out.  This child hasn't napped in a long time.

Summer so far...

So one day I hear Jett SCREAMING after playing downstairs for a while by himself.  I run down there and he is laying down against the wall, with this horse tipped over onto him.  

I said, Buddy, what happened?  

"I want to Rock and Roll Mommy!"

Thats my boy.  He got right back up and started rocking and rolling on his bouncy horse.

I got to go to Mary Poppins on broadway to review the show for my blog. I was basically THRILLED.  

One warm sunny day we went to the lake with Corrina and her kids.  We swam for a long time.  This is how Jett fell asleep.  Mid PB&J sandwich.

Jett has taken swimming lessons for 2 weeks already and is starting to get more comfortable in the water.  He actually goes into the lake this year.  I have to bribe him with slurpees to get his EYES in the water though.

Life lately

Both boys are sitting up on their own.  Boston did this first.  Jager rolled over first.  Jager is my sweet Chunky Monkey.  We have started calling Boston  "Boston Bear" and I never really thought about it.  Until one morning Jett yelled ITS NOT BOSTON.  ITS BOSTON BEAR!  So you have been told.

The babies are getting better and playing and interacting.  The recognize faces and smile at me.  They don't really play stranger danger though.  They will pretty much go to anyone.

Jett on the other hand wants to be BY MY SIDE all day long.  He wants to be a baby.  He wants me to make his sandwich, not daddy.  Me to get him juice.  I cant leave the room without him freaking out.  Its sweet and very frustrating all at the same time.

Jager is now babbling.  Its so cute, but he won't do it if he sees me, so its very hard to record.  I will show you my attempts in a bit.
