Engagement Photos

Barrett's Visit

Barrett drove up from Idaho on the long weekend to get some wedding plans taken care of.  Thats right, for those of you who didn't know, Barrett is engaged!  Her name is Crystal and she is from Nevada.  

Crystal can always make him laugh.

The Idaho Crew.  Allie, Crystal, (Jett), Barrett and Kenny.  I think their highlight of the trip was hitting forever 21 and Canadian Chocolate bars (it was someone's first time here).  It was fun having them here for a few days.  We taught Crystal Nerts, the family card game, and she actually kicked our butts a couple times.  No Fair.

Boys

I offered to take Bree's boys today so she could get a nap.  I ended up just taking Greyson and we went to a local indoor gym called Let's Play.  At first he would only really pick up the cars and drive them around, but after half an hour he really got the understanding behind the ball pit, the slides and the teeter-totter.  It was soooo cute.  Jett really liked climbing up and down the stairs all afternoon.  He was a bit young but enjoyed it all the same.

More Chloe - She is Home

These are the day she was born.  Debbie and I watched the twins all day and then brought them in to see their new baby sister.  They didn't really want anything to do with her.  I don't think they really got it.  They also weren't feeling that good so we will see how it goes.

Chloe Rose Johnson

My first niece Chloe was born this morning.  I don't have a lot of details.  It was a scheduled C-Section at 11:30.

She weighed in at 8 pounds 6.2 ounces.  22 inches long with a head full of dark hair.  I think she looks like Greyson.  I will post more pictures when I get to go meet her tonight.  I can't wait.

Thinking about going private

I will be the first to admit I hate when people have private blogs.  I hardly ever check them, and when I do I have a marathon read catching up on them.  I think people are ultra concerned about their not so unique lives.  And yet, I feel like people sometimes will claim to be a friend and use your friendship to stab you in the back.  I hate fake friends.

So if you want to read this (if anyone still does) I don't care if you are a long time friend, family member, friend of friend, someone who used to work with / go to church with / live near me (or Mick), or someone I have never met.  Send me your email, you can read the blog.  I guess I just want to feel in control of the situation.
