The Weekend

In typical Johnson tradition, Jett got dressed as a girl today! I thought the outfit of my mom’s was so cute we had to try it on! Wouldn’t he make such a pretty girl?

To celebrate the sunny day we had on Sunday we all gathered on Joel & Debbie’s new and highly controversial patio furniture. It was so fun to be outside with all the kids. The big boxes proved to be very entertaining for the boys AND grandpa! At one point we used the boxes as a play pen and threw some food and toys in there for them to play with! They look like little puppies!

On Saturday I went to a friend’s wedding while Mick stayed home at my mom and dad’s house with the sleeping Jett. I was a little worried about Mick not hearing Jett cry if he woke up because I knew he would be out fishing. This is what I came home to see.

Blessing

I know that all of my posts are about Jett, but that is my daily life, so that's what you get! Here is little man dressed for our colder morning today. He smiled for the camera (usually the flash freaks him out a little and he stops smiling).

Jett was blessed last sunday on Memorial weekend. He looked so cute in his little tux! We were so excited that Mick's parents came up from Idaho Falls for the blessing. It was great to spend some time with them again.

Whose Nose?

Barrett - November 1987

Since Jett has been born, Mick and I have wondered where his nose came from. Sometimes we look at him and say, don't worry, one day you will grow into it! The other day I found some old family pictures and scanned them in. This is the proof - in matching outfits as further proof. He has Barrett's and Joel's Nose!

He's Worried. I'm not.

2 Months Old

Can you believe he is 2 months old already? It has been the longest as well as the fastest 2 months ever. Right now he smiles, he can roll over, he recognizes our faces and follows us as we walk around the room. He sleeps at night time for about 4-5 hour stretches which couldn't have happened soon enough. While is constant eating is driving me crazy, he jumped from the 10th to the 25th percentile for weight! As his doctors appointment last week he weighed 10 pounds 4 ounces and was 21 inches tall.
