There are a lot of great deals you hear about only to find out they are ONLY in the states. So I wanted to post a few free things I have found.

Diapers -

• huggies.com and sign up to be a member. They send you free samples for each size of diaper. Huggies will also send a potty training success DVD (fsisolutions.com/kcpullupsdvd).
  
• Pampers will send easy up trainers, coupons, stickers, potty training tips, progress charts, and rewards. http://www.pampers.com/en_CA/potty-kit-request

Formula -

• nestle-baby.ca will send you free formula samples and a backpack with a changing pad.
• Heinzbaby.com actually sent me the most formula, as well as a reusable bag and a growth chart.
• Similac Welcome Club will also send free samples

Yoga Class - Lulu Lemon offers free weekly yoga classes at their stores.

Food - Sign up for birthday clubs at Tony Romas, Boston Pizza, Baskin Robbins, Red Robin and Starbucks.

TV Episodes Online - the TV networks won't allow canadian IP addresses to view their episodes, but if you go to globaltv.com, cbc.ca, watch.thecomdedynetwork.ca you can watch them in Canada.

Songs - If you go to starbucks on tuesdays, they give away cards for free downloads to itunes, no purchase necessary. Happy downloading!

What we have been up to

Isn't he huge? I looked at this and was shocked at how big he looks.

Mick is holding Ian, who is 6 weeks older than Jett. He can crawl and he makes Jett feel HUGE!

My friend Leiah and I have been walking in Fish Creek Park in the mornings and it has been great. Her son Peyton and Jett are best buds.

We will miss you Brycen Monte.

Our oldest nephew Brycen died in a car accident Sunday morning. He was 18 years old, a great football player, the best older brother, and an all around nice guy. We were first told that he fell asleep driving and rolled his car. The latest is that he survived the car accident and crawled to the road where he was hit by a car that then drove away. Its awful. He was a great kid and we will all miss him.

Jett 6 Months

Can you believe it has been 6 months already? He gets his 4 month shots on tuesday (because thats the kind of mom that I am?) so I won't have measurements until then. Right now he:

Sits up
Loves Sweet potatoes
Hates Carrots
Makes funny faces at fruits, almost like its sour?
Can hold his own bottle
Recognizes the bottle and pulls it to his mouth
Rolls from back to front
Goes to sleep on his back
Wakes up on his tummy
Recognizes faces and is starting to get a little shy
Loves to cuddle (shocked us all, I know)

He is at such a fun stage in that he can play with toys, recognizes you and smiles, but still can't quite move around. He is sleeping well and so I am pretty well rested. I could never imagine loving this boy like I do. He makes me laugh all day long. We love this little guy!

Here are some pictures for you. The outside needs some love and new paint. I also have a few plans for the paint on the inside as well (mostly the kitchen cabinets). We will see how it goes. When we move in on the 15th of September I will start posting some before and after shots.
