The Auction

So I woke up early and drove to the middle of nowhere to check out this auction I have heard about.  We sent some of our showhome furniture there from work, so I was curious.  While at first very overwhelming, I soon learned the ropes and figured it out.  I even bought a few pieces of furniture!  It was very scary.  I felt reasured when the auctioner told me I had a "good buy".  Here are the pieces I came home with.

This is one of the tables I got and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  The inlay is amazing and it cost less than the end table I got a pier 1 at 75% off.  Love a good deal.

Here is the other table I bought today.  I have it temporarily in my entry right now.  I am debating painting all or part of it.  Either white or gray.  Possibly just the drawers?  We will see.

Behind the Scenes- bree's nursery

I spent an surpirsingly easy afternoon with all 3 boys.  At first I was bracing myself for the worst, but surprisingly the three of them together are easier than Jett by himself.  As he is now mobile and Mr. Independent if I don't have my eyes on him for a second he is all the way up the stairs.  When around the "big boys" he just crawls after them trying to do whatever they are doing.  It was quite entertaining.  Granted, no food and no diapers were involved, so it made for a great afternoon.
We drove the BMW's around

We took a bath.  Jett, not so much a fan of all that splashing.  Notice Greyson's - whats your problem?  look.  Hehe.

Harrison actually cuddling me.  They were so cute.

Jett wasn't too sure about sharing.  It could prove interesting.

This weekend we decided to finish the kids rooms for Bree, as baby #3 is arriving in less than 2 weeks.  We had to switch the rooms because the boys room wasn't big enough to hold 2 twin beds without blocking a door.  Everyone kept busy, here debbie is about to fall out a 2 story window to ensure the new baby had Clean Windows.

Joel hung the chandelier.  Go Dad, always with the tricky jobs.  Wall paper, wall paneling, electrical.  What a man.

This was my short stint at baby sitting.  Apparently all 3 kids were willing to eat the prunes.  Entertaining because Harrison never lets anyone feed him.

So these are totally late, but I just wanted to document Christmas everyone knows that we did in fact celebrate. I also promised that as Jett's first Christmas it had to be documented appropriately.

The goods all layed out first thing in the morning a Grandma's House.

Does my mom not look adorable in her new skiing helmet? I think her and my dad were the only people who got up and showered before we ate breakfast and opened presents. You will notice they are the only people who look decent in the photos. Don't judge, I just like my sleep.

Jett got a BMW bike to match the twins they got last year. Dad and Barrett pushed him back and forth for a while and he was totally in love. And luck for him those cousins know just what to do with that car and can demonstrate just how to have the most fun with it as possible.

Okay, so we all can't look as good as debbie on christmas morning okay?
Grandpa Joel loving his new golf shirt.

Barrett was thrilled with his vintage Flames Jersey. GO FLAMES GO! He finally got his wish of opening gifts.
The boys all got matching Pajama pants and cowboys shirts. Now Bree and I are the only Johnson members without them. Here's hoping for next year?

Mick won the prize for the largest gift that had to be "wrapped" in the other room.
Its this lovely ping pong table. Our house is now the game house. Our basement can just barely squeeze this guy in. Joel here is playing in the corner of death, where if I were to play against Joel standing in that corner the ball would bounce off the corners and whip my face. Lovely.

Every Christmas my mom gets all us girls an amaryllis to plant. I have the black thumb of the family and yet mine always grows the fastest. I just had to post this as proof that mine is fully bloomed and I offcially won! (Not that I am competitive or anything).
We had some friends over to get in the hottub and we decided to throw the kids in too. Mick turned down the temperature so it wasn't so piping hot, but we made sure the boys wore hats to not freeze their ears. It was nice to have friends over, the first to our new house!

I bought this beauty for 35 cents at the Okotoks junk yard. I am excited to paint it. I am thinking either red, bright green to match Jett's room, or white. I am also debating making a new seat and reupholstering it with a fun fabric. I figure this would be the easier way to learn. What color should I paint it?

Catching up - thanksgiving in Idaho.

Jozy, little miss reader. She is such a good helper with Jett, and she is such a good reader. I love staying at Josh and Katies because we have such a good time and because of this girl. And her sister, who is slowly warming up to Jett.

Jett and Josh playing Jozlyn's piano. Jett can't tell Josh apart from Mick, and its very cute.

Jett and Santa. He just stared at him but he didn't cry.

Jett Driving my grandma's Minivan. Mobile means independent. Driving? Maybe just a touch early. Bet hey, it is Idaho.

Pictures yet to come are all in Taylors camera. My brother in law taylor is so great, he worked on everyones computers, ipods, laptops, gave advise for everyones computers and laptops and is the family's unofficial photographer. Seriously, this man is a genius and I feel bad that he always has to do work for us. However, when he ever sets up a blog so we can see our future niece growing, (hint hint) then I can show you more pictures!
