Canmore Trip

My parents own a townhouse that they rent out in canmore.  They were in Reno for Barrett's wedding reception, so I got the duty of driving out there to clean it for them.  Here is part of the email I sent my mom to vent:

Jett was SUPER whiney yesterday  I wanted to kill him. It drove me crazy. Wanted to be held 24/7.  I tried to be a fun mom and asked him to help me shake the sheets. He took a pillow case and threw it over the balcony. Onto the Roof. That I cannot reach. Lovely. The extras left in the closet were the little kind that don’t fit over the pillowcase. Eventually I hit it with the mop handle to get it to the edge and then pulled it down from the main floor. It wasn’t too dirty, but I still just brought it home to wash just in case. He ended up sleeping the entire ride home, which was wonderful. Needless to say, its all taken care of but I would like you to come home on Monday so I have help repeating this day again on Tuesday.

Girls Camp 2010

I was called to be the Girls Camp Director this year.  I was so excited and so scared at the same time.  I love girls camp, but I wasn't allowed to call a cook, so I had to do it myself.  I was so scared, anyone who knows me know that I do NOT cook.  My family survives off oven pizzas and mac and cheese.  Sometimes we splurge and cook fajitas.  Nothing magical.

The theme was Super heros.  We started out with a superhero transition night, making super hero shirts and having a relay race.
We had some camp fire singing.  These two kept us in the music the entire camp.
Our camp had a lot of activities for us to do.  Archery, an obstacle course, and swimming.

We played in the River.

Hung out in the cabins, singing, making crafts, eating good food.
  And we finished with skits.

I am so glad camp is over, but we had a ton of fun.

Calaway Park

Mick got me a VIP pass to the local amusement park from his work.  Basically all season I can take a group of about 10 people into the park.  We finally had a nice day that I wasn't working and decided to rally the troops and head out there.

Bree came with the twins.  Greyson loved all the "car cars" and was very into driving.  Harrison, not so much, but after a while he started to like it.

Jett bawled until I held his hand.  He was mostly upset I got out of the egg to grab Abbey.  He got over it, don't you worry.

Jett and Greyson rode the boats all by themselves.  Being only the second ride of the day, Jett was a little nervous, but he would see all his friends and cousins and start to wave.  Then see me and bawl.  Again, he got used to it.   Greyson was very into the driving. That wheel never stopped turning.

It was about 30 degrees so it was a little sweaty of a day.  Notice all the shades and squinty eyes?
Boucy cars were a blast!
 BIG KIDS ONLY!

Maybe we can go again on a warm but not BOILING day.

4th Of July 2010

Memories of this year's 4th of July:

Hanging out with the Dobsons.  Having a campfire and learning skateboarding tricks on the tramp.
Jett loves his Aunt Holly

Cousin Coleson taught me some cool tricks and was kind enough not to laugh at me.

Wilson

Tyson

Hanging out at Grandma's House, meeting the new Niece Juliette.

These cousins are only 6 weeks apart.  Ian is so slender in comparison to Jett.  They looked so cute when they were together.  Its amazing to see how their personalities are so different even at about a year and a half old.

Auntie Katie stopping Jett from starting the internet on her cell phone.  His favorite toy of all time.

The only picture you will see of us because I am embarrassed of all of them.  This is a time in my life I don't want to remember the way that I look.  Depressing yes, but I have to give in every now and then...

The night of the Fireworks
KISSING COUSINS!

The proud new parents.

My favorite girls.

We had so much fun.  I love it when the whole family gets together (minus a sibling and their family).   As much stress there is trying to arrange activities and find restaurants we all like, its the moments we all just play games and roast hot dogs around the fire that I always remember. It was weird to be in Idaho and not have Brycen there.  We spend the 3rd celebrating at the park pavilion we usually celebrated his birthday parties at.  Being in Idaho just brings up the awareness that he isn't here.

We miss the Berry Fam.  Please come up and see us!

Packing for Idaho. Jett seemed pretty excited about the situation.
